Summer Ensembles: Puerto Galera.☺

since my last post is about my recent trip to Galera, let me share with you a couple of looks that I've put together.☺

DAY 1: Aboard

i wanted to have that comfy, summer look. :) i put on this printed top with my fave denim shorts at the moment and just slipped on my pair of Sperry's. i added this beige cardigan because i considered the fact that we are traveling by an air conditioned bus. don't want to catch a cold! :)

DETAILS:

• TOP- its from a brand called Candy.
• CARDIGAN- from Esprit, got it in ang Ukay store for 20 pesos. :)
• BOTTOMS- this is my 20 peso shorts, got it also from Ukay.
• SHOES- Sperry Top-Siders in Sahara.
• BAG- from Jansport
• EARRINGS- bronze studs from F21

DAY 1: Explore

after arriving at our destination, we took a couple of hours dozing off. :) we woke up at dusk. knowing that we were in the beach, i paired this animal printed top with a tie dye short shorts.

• BOTTOM- blue tie-dyed shorts from Ukay.

DAY 1: Sling Out

being spotted at the night scene was part of the agenda. :)) i wanted to look chic but not too much for the night out so i put on a pink maxi skirt and knitted top.

DAY 2: Fresh

time to swim and snorkel! :) i have my bathing suit underneath this white top and azure colored shorts.

DAY 2: Swim!

DAY 2: Travel

after the morning activities, its time to visit Tamaraw Falls! :) i put on this cute lace tube over my bathing suit and wore my woven hat.

yey! we're done! these are just the clothes that i've bought with me during the trip.

most of the pieces from my vacation ensembles are from ukay-ukay. :) who can tell that these clothes costs 20 or 50 pesos? i am proud that these outfits cost less, look cute and really show off my personality. loving these ukay-ukay collection of mine!♥☺ thank you for reading!

YC goes to Camp Aguinaldo. :)

hello!

yesterday our Youth Choir was invited to sing in a thanksgiving/ ecumenical mass held at Camp Aguinaldo for the Philippine Military Academy Batch 36 (if i'm not mistaken). :) 

the celebration was prepared by Tita Linette's boss, a retired Colonel and the last remaining soul of their batch. he is already 95 years old but looked young, healthy and happy. he even danced the Gangnam Style with Renzie and Kristel. :) 

what touched me the most was when he gave his speech. he thanked everyone who came especially the families of the late heroes of our nation, he said that he will try to be here on earth forever for them, to remember the brave men of his batch by organizing this kind of celebration for them. i really hope he will be. :)

today A and me with a couple of good friends celebrated our 27th month together.♥ yey! another good thing about this day was i got an UKAY blog for you guys!

it was really random...i wanted to look at some ukay stores in Pasay but we were currently in Manila. luckily we passed by Central Station. there in the midst of the crowd stand a humble ukay-ukay. another good thing was THEY WERE ON SALE. :) 

when i was looking at these i realized i haven't got or i have a few floral or paisley patterns on my clothing. i often have those solid dark colored shirts, cardigans and blouses. since i'm feeling kinda girly today..here are the few items i got: 

a pretty beige blouse with floral pattern and pearl buttons (55php)

paisley satin blouse (55php)

acid wash high waist-ed shorts (65php) 

okay this last piece is kind of a wild card. i have never tried printed leg wear or leggings before because they would absolutely make my bottom half a little bigger BUT i could still make it work. :P if not...WHO WANTS THEM? haha

 had a really nice day. lunch with A's chorale-mates, dinner with our two closest friends. :) and a long walk home. loved every minute of it!♥

hello again. :)

its my third post for today. sorry. :) but i really had so much to tell you guys. 

its been a while since my last ukay-ukay haul. soooo...i'm just excited to say that i'm still doing that in my spare time. 

i went to this ukay store just here in Bangkal. just in case you're interested its front of the 7-11 at Alejandrino St. so...here's what i got. :)

yeah...got everything under the shades of blue. it was quite easy to figure out why i got attracted to these clothes. i felt an overwhelming feeling of calmness, coolness with a little bit of rest. perfect. :)

can't wait to sport them out with grandma's pearls. :)

exam week is coming up. err...3 major exams in 3 days. talk about burning my neurons to the limit. *sigh. as a student we can do nothing but comply to these rules. i'm quite done for microbiology but pharma and pathology seemed light years away! but...i live by the rules, God has His reasons why things happen. so have a little faith. :) everything will be according to His plan. Amen.

yesterday was a blessing of rest and quality time with my mom and 2 titas from Bulacan. i got one day in this 4 day vacation devoted to one of my favorite thing to do in the world and that was DIGGIN' :)

i know that i have already established that most of my clothes come from these kind of thrift stores and i have proved that you can actually find very good items in one store alone through blogging. 

little did i know that my relatives are reading the blog and are kinda interested in diggin' as well, so they came all the way from Bulacan (a province north of manila) just to visit the ukay stores in Pasay to look for outfits including bags and shoes! funny to some but pretty wise decision for me. :) 

again, if there is a Sale in an ukay store 100pesos is enough to get a complete outfit. :)

here's some proof:

• leggings and flats are mine :))

diggin' finds: the accumulation. :)

its been a month and surely i did some diggin' but was unable to post them here. sorry. 

if you guys are still looking for reasons to dig, well i have 3 new reasons:

1. Amparo's RTW- has started segregating their authentic branded clothes from the rest. it was really convenient because if you're a type of gal who loves ZARA, MISS SIXTY, H&M, BURBERRY, A/X, ESPRIT (just some of the brands available) then this store is just for you! plus the branded clothes are really in good condition. if you're to visit the store then these brands are on pink hangers. :)
2. SALE! SALE! SALE!- everything and EVERY STORE in Libertad, Pasay was on sale! from shoes to bags, tops, jackets, dresses. you have a wide variety to choose from. last friday my mom bought like a whole new wardrobe. :))
3. FOR LESS- as i've always said. your moolah will go a long way in these kind of stores. :)

hello!

i know its been a while since the last time i wrote to you guys. i have been busy doing school stuff. *peace!

YESTERDAY: we had our very 1st long exam in Pathology. in my own evaluation, i think i did pretty well..so i celebrated my so-called success by shopping in one of my favorite UKAY stores near my home. :) hahaha. its along Evangelista St. and right across the 7/11 (EDSA end). other landmarks would include Mang Inasal and Reyes Haircutters. XD

the store was on sale! yey! i got these items:

1. first is this tank top. its not really orange like in the picture but more of a neon coral. :) its 40pesos

2. an sheer animal printed top for 40php

 3. this baggy rich purple top is for 40pesos

 4. polka-dotted long sleeves for 50 pesos

 5. a bossini "Fashion Tee" for 50pesos

 6. last is a navy blue blouse with very cute butterflies and glittering details for 75 pesos.

i spent about 300 pesos for 6 tops. :) i hoped to get a discount for the tank tops but i guess sweet talkin' the sales clerk did not work for me today. :))
