5thingsi♥: Mark & Irene's Wedding

hello!

just had a very nice and beautiful wedding last saturday. the couple's names were 

Mark & Irene. :) 

here are the things that i love during their wedding!

hope you could find inspiration in them for your big day!

PREPS:

1. THE GOWN! by Ms. Gretchen Pitchay- omg. the gown is just to die for. promise! its simplicity is equal to perfection! :) its skirt is (i think) an A line and the bodice is ordained with beads and pearls. i love it because of the meekness and simplicity of it. partnered with Irene's birdcage veil instead of the usual long veil gives this look a chic vintage feel. 
2. THE WEDDING BANDS AND ENGAGEMENT RING- again, i love this couple because of their understated elegance. :) nothing too flashy or over the top. really simply perfect.
3. THE COLOR SCHEME- its pink, gray, and white! love it! :)

   4. K BY CUNANAN CATERING- never fails to impress! from the table set up and especially the food! :) notable for that night's delicious meal was the prawns, bbq salad, and the dessert choices!
   5. THE VOWS- will post their SDE by Wang soon :) you'll know why.♥

5thingsi♥: V-DAY.♥

hello everyone!

its officially the start of the 2013 Holy Week, this means we have 40 days to repent and to get ourselves ready. :)

BUT WAIT!

let's not forget that valentines day is also tomorrow!♥

yey!!!!

okay..here's the deal. not all of us are in a romantic relationship, maybe some are coming from a break up or a tough time in work but who said you can't have FUN? 

for this post i would just like to share with you the things that i'm currently loving that could be a part of your special V-day.♥

1. BURGER KING'S BBQ STUNNER PROMO

- how about skipping Mcdonald's and Jollibee for a day and try BK's burgers instead!

2. THE BIG CITY

-another new resto to try tomorrow. :) its located at the newly opened wing of Glorietta in front of KFC.

they offer grilled burgers, hotdogs and sausages.

grilling the meat gives a distinct charred flavor that adds to the overall package!

coming here with your girlfriends or even your mom and aunts (like i did) will be fun and also perfect for tomorrow!

3. BONO (artisanal gelato)

-when passing through Glorietta to SM Makati, its impossible to miss this colorful eye candy of a shop!

its my first time here with my brother, Kai and we loved the 1st ever flavor we tried and that's MILK AND CEREAL. 

gotta try more of their fun flavors soon!

plus this gelato comes with a heart-shaped waffle on top! V-DAY PERFECT!♥

4. F21 Basic V-neck shirts

-nothing to wear?

basic pieces are essential key in building a wardrobe, so i got this plain white v-neck shirt (V for valentines!) from Forever21. 

just pair it up with jeans and flats for a effortless look! well, that's just me. hehe.

the price is not bad and i love how super soft it is and its light that makes it perfect for traveling.

5. SPREAD THE LOVE, IT NEVER FAILS.♥

-valentines is not all about having romantic dinners or expensive gifts but its a celebration of love itself. 

simply say, "I love you." mean it and prove it. :)

i'm sure it will make anyone smile.

that's one gift i'd like to receive tomorrow. 

valentines its about GOD. He is love.

hello everyone!

have you suffered from dry skin during cold days such as those we are experiencing this past weeks? i don't know about you guys but i have. :P as i always say, "prevention is better than cure" so to avoid further damage i found FIVE things that i really loved using during these kinds of days. 

• Jergen's Original Scent Lotion- i really love using these lotion because of the subtle, sweet smell that it leaves on the skin after application, it also does its job in moisturizing the skin quite better than i expected because if you're to compare the prices, this brand is cheaper in bigger size. 

• Apollo's Petroleum Jelly- by experience i found out that this product helped me cure the wind burns (i got in Tagaytay some week ago) around my lips. it's like magic! once you put it on *tenen! the burns were moisturized immediately and eventually healing the skin. its tasteless, colorless and leaves no scent. 

• Cetaphil- this skin cleanser doubles as a moisturizer for my face. i like to use it 1st as a cleanser then i'll dry my face with a towel then apply a thin layer of the product again (no water this time). it helps my face stay smooth and very healthy.

• Lip and Cheek Tint from the Body Shop- i seldom wear make-up or i terribly suck at it BUT this one is my life saver! its like i have a blush and lipstick both in the same bottle. :) the color that it leaves on the skin depends on you and how much product you apply. i'm simply in loveeee with it!

• Bath and Body Works' Green Clove and Aloe Body Spray- for fragrance. i love the crisp, fresh smell that this one leaves on my body. :)

the first 3 are usually found on the drugstores, the lip and cheek tint is available at the Body Shop, and the body spray is available at the Bath and Body Works. :)

that's about it! these are the basic things that i found pretty much helpful to me during these cold January days. :)
